A quiet corner of Lytham
Stable Cottage is a 19th-century stable conversion, tucked away on a quiet street in the heart of Lytham, just 200m from the sea front. Cheryl renovated it to a high standard, and it keeps plenty of old character, with dark oak beams, a pine staircase and warm wooden floors throughout. Downstairs, the sitting room and dining area open through to a bright kitchen with skylights and glass doors onto the courtyard.
Lytham has a village feel, with independent shops, tea rooms and restaurants, a leafy green running along the Ribble estuary and wide skies at every turn. It's an easy base for exploring the whole coast, from St Annes beach to Blackpool.
Stable Cottage is owned and run by Cheryl, who was born in Lytham St Annes and lives locally. She's always happy to help, from local recommendations to booking a table for your first night, and many guests come back year after year.
